VedVan carries a very special meaning for our family. The name was inspired by our two children, Vedansh (Ved) and Vanya.
Their names represent the love, hope and dreams that inspired us to build something that could create a positive impact beyond our own family.
VedVan DS Rautela Foundation was founded with a simple belief: every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, dream and build a better future.
What began with a family-inspired name has grown into a larger vision — to support children, help families in need, promote education, provide opportunities for the underprivileged, and contribute to the social development of our community.
Through VedVan, we hope to create opportunities that can change lives, one person and one family at a time.

Shailja Rautela is an experienced educator and education professional with 15 years of experience in teaching, academic leadership and school administration.
She holds multiple academic and professional qualifications, including B.Sc., M.Sc., M.A. and B.Ed., along with CTET and UTET qualifications.
During her career, Shailja has served as an educator, academic leader and school principal, including experience with Army Public School and other educational institutions. Her career has been dedicated to helping children learn, grow in confidence and develop the skills they need for their future.
As a mother of two children, she also understands the importance of creating an environment where children receive not only academic education but also opportunities to develop communication, confidence, personality and life skills.
Her experience in education and her commitment to community development are an important part of the vision behind VedVan DS Rautela Foundation.
Through the Foundation, she hopes to contribute to initiatives that support education, children, healthcare, vulnerable families and wider community development.
Dharam , is a retired Subedar Major of the Indian Army,Sarojini Rautela is a wife of Dharam singh Rautela having completed 42 years of dedicated service. Throughout his life, service to others has been an important part of his values. Even during and after his years of service, he has been involved in helping people and contributing to charitable and community-support activities.
His example of discipline, service, responsibility and compassion has been an important inspiration behind our Foundation.
By carrying his initials, along with my mother’s name and the names of our children, into the Foundation, we wanted to create something that represents the values of our family and carries them forward to the next generation.
Hira Singh Rautela is a hospitality professional with extensive experience in the hotel and hospitality industry in India and internationally.
With a career built in hospitality management, he has gained professional and cultural experience across India, Maldives, Malaysia, Singapore, Dubai, Thailand, Myanmar, Nepal and Central America. He has worked with reputed hotels and hospitality organisations in India and has progressed into Operations Management roles.
His international exposure has given him an understanding of different cultures, workplaces and employment environments, as well as the challenges faced by people seeking opportunities outside their home country.
Alongside his professional career, Hira has a strong interest in helping people from financially disadvantaged backgrounds access genuine employment opportunities.
He has supported individuals seeking employment abroad by helping them understand opportunities and processes without charging the large placement or consultancy fees that people may otherwise face.
Through VedVan DS Rautela Foundation, he aims to use his professional experience, international exposure and network to contribute to education, employment opportunities, skill development, social support and community development.
His vision is to help people build a better future through skills, dignity, opportunity and self-reliance.
